==== The Garden State ==== New Jersey's nickname, the "Garden State," is a nod to its historic agricultural roots and its lush landscapes. While much of the state is urbanized, there are still many areas that remain green and beautiful, including the Delaware Water Gap, the Pinelands National Reserve, and the Highlands region. These areas provide ample opportunities for hiking, camping, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The state also has a rich tradition of agriculture, with famous products including tomatoes, blueberries, cranberries, and peaches. New Jersey’s vineyards and wineries are also gaining recognition, with the state being one of the top wine-producing regions in the U.S.
