==== Seattle SuperSonics / Oklahoma City Thunder ==== Durant’s first season in Seattle (2007-2008) was remarkable. Despite being on a rebuilding team, Durant showed that he was already one of the best offensive players in the league, finishing the season with 20.3 points per game and winning NBA Rookie of the Year honors. In the following season, after the franchise relocated to Oklahoma City and became the Thunder, Durant emerged as the team’s undisputed leader. By 2010, Durant’s scoring ability had taken center stage. He won his first NBA scoring title, averaging 30.1 points per game and establishing himself as one of the league’s most unstoppable offensive forces. His smooth shooting stroke, especially from mid-range and deep three-point territory, made him a matchup nightmare for defenders.
