==== Second Half: Leverkusen's Response ==== As the second half began, Bayer Leverkusen showed more urgency, knowing that they had to respond quickly if they were to get back into the game. Xabi Alonso made some tactical adjustments, introducing fresh legs in attack and attempting to push more players forward. The changes seemed to have an immediate impact, as Leverkusen started to create more chances and take control of possession. In the 58th minute, Leverkusen halved the deficit with a stunning goal from Moussa Diaby. The French winger picked up the ball on the counter-attack and sprinted down the left wing, evading two Bayern defenders before cutting inside and firing a low shot past Neuer. The goal gave Leverkusen a much-needed boost, and suddenly, the match was very much alive again at 2-1. The goal seemed to awaken Bayern Munich, and they responded with a series of attacks to try to restore their two-goal lead. However, Leverkusen’s defense, led by Jonathan Tah and Edmond Tapsoba, began to settle into the game. They made several important clearances, and Hradecky was forced into a few key saves to keep his team within striking distance. Despite the pressure, Bayern Munich remained dangerous, with players like Serge Gnabry and Jamal Musiala testing Hradecky with shots from distance. The match became more open, with both teams pushing for another goal, but neither could find the decisive strike in the final moments.
