==== First Half: Bayern’s Domination ==== As the match kicked off at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich immediately asserted their dominance, controlling the ball and dictating the tempo. The pressing game they are known for was in full swing, and Leverkusen struggled to get a foothold in the early stages. Bayern’s high pressing forced mistakes from Leverkusen, and their defense looked shaky when under pressure. In the 15th minute, Bayern Munich took the lead through a brilliant piece of individual skill from Leroy Sané. The winger received a pass just outside the box, took a touch to set himself up, and unleashed a powerful shot that flew past Leverkusen goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky. The goal was a testament to Sané’s class and ability to change the game in an instant. Leverkusen attempted to respond, but Bayern’s defense, led by Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt, remained solid. Leverkusen’s midfield, led by Wirtz, was finding it difficult to break down Bayern’s structure, and their attacks often lacked the sharpness needed to challenge goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Despite Leverkusen's best efforts, Bayern continued to control the match. The home side doubled their lead in the 30th minute through a clinical finish from veteran striker Thomas Müller. A well-timed cross from Joshua Kimmich found Müller at the far post, and he made no mistake in converting the opportunity into a goal. Bayern Munich now led 2-0, and it seemed like the game was slipping away from Leverkusen.
