=== The MLB Draft and Early Professional Career === Naquin's hard work and success at Texas A&M paid off when he was selected by the Cleveland Indians (now Cleveland Guardians) with the 15th overall pick in the 2012 MLB Draft. It was a dream come true for Naquin, but the transition from college ball to professional baseball would prove to be challenging. Naquin began his professional career in the minor leagues, where he continued to showcase his offensive ability. He quickly moved through the ranks, playing for teams like the Lake County Captains and the Akron RubberDucks. Despite some early struggles with injuries, he demonstrated strong hitting ability and solid outfield defense. By 2016, Naquin had earned a spot on the Indians’ roster, making his MLB debut on April 25, 2016.
