=== College Career: Dominance at Iowa === Caitlin Clark made an immediate impact in her freshman year at Iowa, taking the NCAA by storm. She quickly became known for her incredible scoring ability and her confidence in taking shots from anywhere on the court. Clark’s range and fearless shooting earned her comparisons to some of the best shooters in the history of the game, including NBA legends like Stephen Curry. In her debut season (2020-2021), Clark averaged 26.6 points per game, 7.1 rebounds, and 8 assists, quickly establishing herself as a force in women’s college basketball. She led the nation in scoring and was named the Big Ten Player of the Year. But it wasn’t just her scoring that made her so special—it was her ability to do it all. Clark’s vision and passing ability made her a triple-threat, able to create for her teammates while maintaining her scoring prowess. She was also known for her ability to step up in big moments, hitting clutch shots and making game-changing plays when her team needed it the most. In 2021, Clark led Iowa to the NCAA Tournament, where her performance was so dominant that she became one of the most talked-about players in the country. Even though Iowa’s tournament run ended in the Sweet 16, Caitlin’s individual performance left a lasting impression and solidified her status as one of the most exciting young players in the game.
