=== Second Half: Stalemate Despite Late Pressure === The second half saw both teams come out with renewed energy, determined to edge ahead. Arsenal controlled possession for large spells of the half, but Chelsea defended resolutely, with Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell particularly impressive at the back. Despite a number of promising attacking moves from the Gunners, including a powerful header from Gabriel Jesus that rattled the crossbar, Chelsea's defense stood firm. On the counter, Chelsea also had a few chances to take the lead, with Sterling and Mount testing Ramsdale with several shots, but the Arsenal keeper was equal to the task. As the game wore on, the tempo intensified, but neither side could break the deadlock. Arsenal brought on fresh legs in the form of Leandro Trossard and Eddie Nketiah to inject more pace into their attack, while Chelsea introduced Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz to try and force a winner. In the final moments of the match, Arsenal pushed hard for a late goal, but Chelsea's defense held strong, and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
